It was an absolute joy to shoot this Orlando lifestyle newborn photography session with Ashley, her husband Brett, and their 6-day-old baby, Jack. Ashley explained how he is “long awaited and a dream come true.” And that he was! You could tell by the joy on their faces that baby Jack is such a gift to them.

Coordinating Colors

This session took place in their sweet home that they have decorated so stylish. Ashley wore three dresses from my client closet, and picked the most perfect shades to go perfectly with their home backdrop. I loved the color schemes that we were working with.

Ashley’s sister came to the session as well which was super helpful for her outfit changes. Having the extra hand made the session smooth and easy.

Following The Baby’s Lead

During the session we took a few breaks for baby to each which is very common and welcome in my sessions. I always want to make sure we are following the baby’s lead during the session. This will ensure that it is an enjoyable and seamless experience for everyone involved. I encourage mamas to feed on demand in an unhurried way.

This session was lovely and beautiful. I enjoyed each moment I had with the Haywood family. As the session was wrapping up, Ashley was already discussing and planning with me another session on the beach. I can’t wait to come alongside this sweet family again and watch baby Jack grow.
