A beloved spring tradition in Lakeland and South Tampa

Every spring, these sessions feel like a deep exhale.

My Motherhood Floral Sessions have become one of the most meaningful events I host each year, and this season marks the third annual gathering. What began as a small concept has grown into a weekend that feels more like a reunion. So many familiar faces return year after year. Mothers step in front of my camera again, often surrounded by children I have watched grow. It is grounding, joyful, and incredibly special to experience everyone together in one place!

As a Lakeland family photographer, these sessions are a reminder of why I do what I do. The beauty is not only in the florals or the setting. It is in the continuity. The trust. The relationships built over time. Seeing so many past clients in one weekend fills my heart in a way few things do.

These sessions are intentionally designed to feel celebratory and ease filled. I always include thoughtful touches for my mamas and sweet treats for the children after their session. It matters to me that this feels like more than a quick photo stop. I want it to feel like time carved out just for you.

As my business continues to evolve, one of my top priorities this year is creating space for my clients to feel truly unrushed. Presence matters. Connection takes time. With that in mind, I am thrilled to share that session times will increase to 25 minutes this year, up from 15 minutes in years past. This allows us to slow down, settle in, and create imagery that feels natural and deeply connected rather than hurried.

Two Distinct Floral Experiences

This year’s Motherhood Floral Sessions will feature two beautifully different environments, each thoughtfully curated to offer a unique experience.

At my Lakeland studio, I am planning a bright, colorful floral installation filled with light, texture, and warmth. This set will feel joyful, vibrant and elevated. The light here lends itself beautifully to connection driven imagery and timeless motherhood moments.

For my Tampa families, the South Tampa studio will host a soft, whimsical floral setup. Think airy tones, gentle movement, and a refined, romantic feel. This environment will be delicate and elevated, offering a completely different aesthetic while still holding space for authentic connection. It is a perfect complement for families seeking a quieter, more ethereal look from their session with a Tampa family photographer.

Both locations are designed with intention, allowing you to choose the studio and city that suits you the best.
