I had the pleasure of meeting the Pessina Family in their beautiful St. Petersburg home during their daughter’s newborn session. It was a delight to witness their love and excitement as they welcomed their little one into the world. So, you can imagine my joy when mom reached out to me this Fall to document their family once again, this time on the picturesque shores of Anna Maria Island.

We met 10 minutes prior to the session start time so mom could try on a few dresses from my client wardrobe that she requested prior. I LOVE the one she ended up choosing. I could tell that Mom had diligently read through my family session guide and came fully equipped for the day. Her beach bag was filled with towels, treats, and even a change of clothes for after the session. It was evident that she understood the importance of planning ahead to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for the entire family. Plus the kids were rewarded with some time with their sand toys after the session- genius idea! 

One of my favorite tips that I share with families is to pack a snack that won’t create a mess. Mom decided to bring mini marshmallows, a choice that proved to be a hit with her children. It’s these little details that can make any session more enjoyable, allowing the family to relax and have fun while I capture their beautiful moments.

As we began the session, I couldn’t help but admire the Pessina Family’s natural connection and love for each other. They engaged in playful tickling, chasing, and laughter, creating a joyous atmosphere that was an absolute pleasure to document. It was heartwarming to see their genuine affection unfold before my lens. 

Anna Maria Island, the chosen location for this session, truly is a beach like no other. The sand is incredibly fine and white, offering a pristine backdrop that adds a touch of magic to every photograph. The ocean, with its stunning shade of blue, provides a breathtaking view that perfectly complements the beauty of the family and their love for one another. If you are considering a beach session, I highly recommend this location for its unmatched natural beauty and serene ambiance.

I feel honored to have been a part of the Pessina Family’s journey and to have captured these precious moments for them to cherish. It is through these images that they will be able to relive the love, laughter, and joy and precious moments of when their children were young.
